Golden Arrow Employees' Medical Benefit Fund is a not-for-profit fund registered in terms of the Medical Schemes Act, No 131 of 1998, as amended (the Act). The Fund provides affordable healthcare through a comprehensive range of benefits to the employees and pensioners of Golden Arrow Bus Services.
Currently over 4 424 lives are covered.
The Fund continues to report positive financial results and maintains a strong financial position with a reserve well in excess of the statutory minimum of 25%.
The Fund offers three benefit options: Primary, Standard and Advanced.
The Fund is managed by a Board of Trustees consisting of six members and a Principal Officer.
The appointed Administrator is Momentum Health.
Please note that the Fund has obtained exemption until 31 December 2025 from compliance with prescribed minimum benefits requirements.
